Thanks to the wonderful folks over at the Ren Fest Podcast, I have been introdused to a hilarious online show called All's Faire. It's about a small ren faire that is trying to save its grounds from being turned into a Mal-Mart (lol)...Do check it out!

Huzzah One and All!

I'm a rather new faire goer as I've been to Renaissance Pleasure Faire in 2008 and 09, and one called World Renaissance Festival in 09 as well (sadly atm it doesn't appear that it'll be back this year), but I've been in love w/the era for some years before that. I also love Medieval Times in Buena Park & have been twice in my life so far that I can think of. I wish to go to the Koroneburg Renaissance Festival at some point too. My list of ren theamed books is too extensive to list, but authors include Phillippa Gregory, Jean Plaidy, Nora Lofts, Margaret Cambell Barnes, Robin Maxwell, Margaret George, Alison Weir (both fiction & non fiction) and Carolly Erickson (again, fiction & non fiction). As far as movies go, I've got The Other Bolyn Girl, The Tudors from Showtime, Elizabeth, Elizabeth The Golden Age, Elizabeth 1 from HBO & Shakespere In Love. Of course, I'm always on the lookout for more lol. Anyway, hope to see y'all around!:)
